Details: At 248 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lillington to near Fort Bragg to 7 miles east of Raeford. Movement was northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Lillington, Fort Bragg, Dunn, Angier, Benson, Godwin, Pope AFB, Spring Lake, and Erwin. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 81 and 49. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 316 and 330. Information: If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
