Details:
At 248 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Lillington to near
Fort Bragg to 7 miles east of Raeford. Movement was northeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Lillington, Fort Bragg, Dunn, Angier, Benson, Godwin,
Pope AFB, Spring Lake, and Erwin.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 81 and 49.
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 316 and 330.

At 211 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms 9 miles southeast of Sanford, moving northeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Cary, Sanford, Southern Pines, Raeford, Lillington, Fort Bragg,
Fuquay-Varina, Pinehurst, Aberdeen, and Angier.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 320 and 324.
US 1 between Mile Markers 90 and 97.
